Sidepanel Assistant

The main interface — open it by clicking the extension icon in your toolbar. It contains 12 screens — AI assistance, documents, product analysis, notifications, profile and settings.

Tabs:

Ask — Quick questions about the current page or any topic
Chat — Multi-turn conversations with AI
Select Chatbot — Choose a custom chatbot if you have one
Document — Upload and analyze files (PDF, Word, text)
Image — Upload and analyze images or screenshots
Info — Quick-reference information and context
Link — Paste a URL and analyze its content
Gift — Explore gift recommendations
Notifications — View alerts from your account
Profile — Manage your account and switch organizations
Settings — Configure the extension
Product Analysis — 3 analysis views (currently showing sample data) with more coming soon (active on Amazon product pages)

Product Analytics Widget

When you’re on an Amazon product page, the sidepanel shows the Product Analysis tab with three analysis views (currently showing sample data):

Review Analysis — Customer sentiment, themes, and feedback breakdown
Listing Optimization — Suggestions to improve title, bullets, description, and images
Review Download — Export review data for analysis

More analysis views (Competitive Analysis, Market Insights, Full Insights) are coming soon.

Seller Central Tools

On Amazon Seller Central, three convenience features:

Floating Action Button (FAB) — Quick-access menu in bottom-right corner

Knowledge Base

Build a searchable index of your own content:

Upload files — PDF, Word, text, and more
Add websites — Index any website (e.g., competitor sites, internal docs)
Add YouTube videos — Extract and index transcripts
Manage content — Search, delete, and organize your uploads

The knowledge base is available to Ask, Chat, Document analysis, and all AI tools.

Configure the extension through 7 settings tabs:

General — Account, AI access, appearance (Display mode: Light / Dark / System; Display language)
Sidebar — Auto-hide sidebar, Show on hover, Remember position
Context menu — Control right-click menu behavior
Web assistant — Enable web assistant, assistant position, assistant size
Prompts — Create custom prompts and templates
Keyboard shortcuts — Set hotkeys for common actions
Knowledge base — Manage your uploaded content

Permissions explained

The extension asks for 7 permissions to provide these features:

Session management

You stay signed in using your existing Hilal account. No extra login:

First sign-in — Click “Sign in” in the extension and authenticate via hilalsoftware.tools
Session reuse — Browser cookies remember your login
Session expiry — If your session expires, sign in again (usually after days of inactivity)
Multi-account — Switch organizations from the Profile tab
