Campaign manager

The Campaign Manager is the heart of the Advertising section. It lists every campaign across every region you’ve connected, lets you edit them in place, and pushes changes back to Amazon in real time.

In this guide:

  • Open the campaign manager
  • Filter by region, marketplace, status, type
  • Edit one campaign
  • Bulk-edit a selection
  • Create a new campaign

Prerequisites

Step 1: Open the campaign manager

Go to Advertising → Campaigns in the sidebar.

The list shows every campaign across every connected region with the columns most operators care about: status, type, daily budget, current-period spend, attributed sales, and ACoS.

Step 2: Filter the list

Filters across the top:

FilterUse when
RegionYou connected multiple regions and want to focus on one.
MarketplacePer-region drill-down.
StatusEnabled / Paused / Archived.
TypeSponsored Products / Sponsored Brands / Sponsored Display.
Date rangeThe window the spend / sales / ACoS columns reflect.

The selection is reflected in the URL — bookmark a filtered view to come back to.

Step 3: Edit one campaign

Click a campaign row → the detail page opens with three tabs:

  • Settings — name, status, budget, dates, bidding strategy.
  • Ad groups — child ad groups with their own bids and targets.
  • Targeting / Keywords — keywords, ASIN targets, match types, bids.

Edit any field, click Save. Hilal pushes the change to Amazon’s Ads API and shows a confirmation when Amazon acknowledges. (Some changes — e.g., bidding strategy — can take a minute to propagate on Amazon’s side.)

Step 4: Bulk-edit a selection

Tick the checkbox on multiple rows in the campaign list and a Bulk actions bar appears at the bottom:

  • Pause / Resume
  • Set daily budget (absolute or percentage adjustment)
  • Set bid (absolute or percentage adjustment)
  • Archive

Bulk operations are queued and confirmed one row at a time so a single failure doesn’t kill the whole batch.

Step 5: Create a new campaign

Click New campaign in the top-right. The flow:

  1. Region & marketplace — where the campaign runs.
  2. Type — Sponsored Products / Brands / Display.
  3. Targeting strategy — Auto, Manual keyword, Manual ASIN.
  4. Keywords / ASINs — add targets with match types and bids. The keyword research tool is built in. → Keyword research
  5. Budget & dates — daily budget, start/end dates.
  6. Ad creative (Brands/Display only) — headline, hero image, landing page.

Submit; Amazon creates the campaign, and Hilal shows it in the list within a minute.

Troubleshooting

  • “Region not connected” error. You have campaigns from a previously-connected region whose connection has lapsed. Reconnect under Amazon → Advertising connections.
  • Spend column shows zero for a campaign that’s running. Amazon attribution lags by ~12 hours for spend and up to 48 hours for sales. Wait, then refresh.
  • “Bid below floor” when editing. Amazon enforces a minimum bid per category. Raise the bid above the floor shown in the error.
