Geo Map

ℹ️
The Geo Map is a tab view within Dashboard → Overview, not a separate page. Go to Dashboard → Overview and click the Map tab to access it. You can also navigate directly with the URL parameter ?view=map.

The Geo Map tab shows your sales and inventory distributed across geographical regions. It provides a world choropleth map with drill-down capability to see region-level metrics and performance.

In this guide:

  • Open the Geo Map tab
  • Interpret the choropleth coloring
  • Drill down into regions
  • View the metrics table

Prerequisites

  • Your Amazon Seller account is connected with at least one region/marketplace enabled.
  • At least 7 days of sales data ideally.

Step 1: Open the Geo Map tab

Go to Dashboard → Overview in the sidebar.

Click the Map tab. The Geo Map opens showing a world choropleth (world map colored by region) and a metrics table below.

Step 2: Interpret the choropleth colors

The map is colored by the selected metric (Sales by default). Color intensity represents volume:

  • Darker color = Higher value for that region
  • Lighter color = Lower value
  • Gray = No data or region not applicable

To change the metric, use the metric selector above the map. The Geo Map supports two metrics:

  • Sales — revenue by region
  • Stock — inventory quantity by region

Step 3: Drill down into regions

Click on a country to drill down and see the next level of detail (country → state/region → products). The table below updates to show the breakdown for the selected area.

You can drill back up or select a different region to explore your business geographically.

Step 4: Review the metrics table

Below the map, a table shows detailed performance for the current region:

⚠️
The metrics table shows regional sales and costs. Note: Ad Spend figures are whole-period totals, not geographically allocated. Profit is calculated before advertising costs are deducted.

Common columns include: Sales, COGS, Amazon Fees, Ad Spend, and Profit. Click the column headers to sort by any metric. Use the metric selector to switch between Sales and Stock views.

Step 5: Export the region data

When you’ve drilled down into a specific region, an Export button appears in the metrics table header. Click it to download the current region’s product table:

  • Excel (.xlsx) — structured spreadsheet with all columns
  • CSV — comma-separated values for import into other tools

The filename includes the region and a timestamp (e.g., geo-map_US-CA_20260819_143045.xlsx). The export includes only the region currently selected, not the full world map.
