Quick actions
The Quick Actions panel sits in the top-right of the home dashboard. It surfaces the operations Hilal sees you doing most often and exposes them as one-click buttons so you don’t have to navigate.
In this guide:
- Find the Quick Actions panel
- Use a built-in action
- Customize the panel
Step 1: Find the panel
The panel is the column-style card on the right side of the dashboard, labelled Quick Actions.
By default it shows five actions; you can show up to ten.
Step 2: Use a built-in action
The default actions are:
| Action | What it does |
|---|---|
| Create FBA shipment | Jumps straight to the FBA shipment builder. |
| Add expense | Opens the expense logger pre-filled with today’s date. |
| Raise PO | Opens the new-purchase-order form. |
| Send review request | Triggers the Amazon-compliant review-request flow on a recent order. |
| Ask AI | Opens AI Chat in a side drawer. |
Click any one — Hilal opens the relevant form or workflow with as much pre-filled as possible (today’s date, default marketplace, etc.).
Step 3: Customize the panel
Click the ⋯ menu in the corner of the panel and pick Customize. The customization sheet shows the full list of available actions; tick the ones you want, drag to reorder, click Save.
The customization is per-user — your settings don’t change anyone else’s panel.
Troubleshooting
- “You don’t have permission” toast. The action you clicked requires a permission your role doesn’t have. Ask an Owner/Admin to grant it, or pick a different action.
- An action is greyed out. Either the prerequisite isn’t met (e.g., Create FBA shipment requires a connected Seller account and at least one product), or your subscription tier doesn’t include it.
