Invite your team

Once Amazon is connected and your marketplaces are set, the workspace is ready for your team. This page is the quick path; for the full reference (per-permission toggles, transfer ownership, audit log) see Team & permissions.

In this guide:

  • Open the members table
  • Send an invitation
  • Choose a role
  • (Optional) tune individual permissions

Prerequisites

  • You’re an Owner or Admin in your organization. Members can’t invite other members.
  • The teammate has an email they can receive sign-up links at.

Step 1: Open the members table

Go to Settings → Members in the sidebar.

You’ll see your own row with the Owner role. The Invite member button is in the top-right.

Step 2: Send the invitation

Click Invite member. The dialog asks for:

  • Email (required) — where the invitation link goes.
  • Name (optional) — what they’ll show up as in the table before they sign up.
  • Role (required) — Owner, Admin, or Member. See the role table below.

Click Send invite. The teammate gets an email with a sign-up link valid for 7 days. They appear in the members table immediately with status Pending, flipping to Active the first time they sign in.

Step 3: Choose the right role

For most teams: the founder is Owner, the ops lead is Admin, and VAs/contractors are Members.

Step 4 (optional): Tune individual permissions

If a member shouldn’t see a specific section — say, you want a VA to manage inventory but not see Finances — use per-member permission toggles.

Click the row of the member you want to restrict. The detail panel shows a permissions matrix grouped by section. Toggle off the sections or actions you want to deny. The member sees the affected pages disappear from their sidebar on next page load.

Troubleshooting

  • The invite email never arrived. Check spam, then click Resend on the row in the members table. Some corporate inboxes block Hilal — try a personal address.
  • “You’ve reached your member limit.” Your subscription tier caps the member count. Either upgrade your plan or buy the Extra members add-on. See Plans, usage & pricing.
  • A teammate sees the wrong organization. They were auto-added to another org. Have them open the org switcher (top of the sidebar) and pick the right one.
