Notes on watchlist items

Watchlist notes are intended to be optional free-text annotations on each product row. When available, they’ll let you track decisions, supplier follow-ups, and reminders directly on the watchlist.

Planned workflows

When notes ship, the following patterns will be useful:

Decision shorthand

• “sample ordered 2026-04-15, awaiting”
• “compared to WIDGET-A; choosing WIDGET-A”
• “saved for Q4 review”

Supplier-side

• “contacted supplier ABC, MOQ 1000”
• “verify OEKO-TEX certification”
• “check if supplier ships to FBA UK directly”

Risk flags

• “trademark concern; investigate before listing”
• “crowded; only worth pursuing with brand-distinguishing positioning”
• “saturated by Amazon Basics; deprioritize”

Follow-up triggers

• “revisit in 30 days”
• “check after Q4 to see if seasonality holds”
• “share with ops team Tuesday”

Alternatives while notes are unavailable

For now, keep decision notes in:

• Hilal’s AI Notes — create one note per product or decision.
• External doc — a shared spreadsheet with ASIN, watchlist status, and decision notes.

• Notes search — full-text query across all watchlist notes.
• Note templates — pick from common templates (“Supplier check”, “Pre-launch review”).
• Mentions and shares — @teammate to surface a note in their watchlist (alongside the collections feature).
