AI features home
The AI features home is the entry point — open it and you’re one tap from any of the AI tools the app provides: chats, notes, document chat, prompts, NL database queries.
In this guide:
- Open AI features
- Skip the intro animation
- Use the shortcut menu
Step 1: Open AI features
Three ways to get there:
- FAB (bottom-right of most screens) → AI Features.
- Drawer → AI Features.
- Settings → AI.
Step 2: The intro animation (first-time only)
The first time you open AI Features in a session, a 7-second animated intro plays — Hilal’s icon resolves into the AI feature menu. It’s an honest delight, not a load screen, but you can skip it: tap anywhere on the screen.
After your first session-skip, the intro doesn’t play again until you’ve fully signed out.
Step 3: Use the shortcut menu
The home menu has cards for the main AI surfaces:
| Card | What it opens |
|---|---|
| All Chats | Your existing AI chat threads (document-based and database-based, mixed). |
| New Chat | Pick a starting point for a new chat — upload a document, pick a table, or start a free-form prompt. |
| Notes | Jump straight to your Notes list. |
| Tables | The list of database tables you can query in natural language. |
| Prompts | Your saved prompts library. |
Each card is also a destination from the FAB — pick whichever entry point feels natural.
Bot context (chatbot users)
If you’re a Chatbot subscriber, the active chatbot’s avatar shows in the AI Features header. The AI surface uses that bot’s knowledge sources and prompts. Tap the avatar to switch context — see Pick your chatbot.
