What's on mobile today

ℹ️
For Hilal Chatbot subscribers.

The dedicated chatbot-management surfaces are coming soon (see the rest of this section). What works for chatbot users today is the AI surface — the tools that make chatbot operators’ lives easier even before the management features land.

In this guide:

  • AI Notes for the bot’s brain
  • Document Chat for content prep
  • Ask the Database for analytics
  • Prompts library for reusable instructions

AI Notes — capture knowledge wherever you are

AI Notes is the cross-product capture surface — your home for the things you want your bot to eventually know.

What you can do today:

  • Type or dictate notes throughout the day — at a customer call, in a Slack thread, after a support escalation.
  • Tag notes intentionally (e.g., for-bot, kb-candidate, faq).
  • Attach files (a customer’s screenshot, a vendor’s PDF, a policy doc).
  • Set reminders to revisit drafts.

Why this matters for chatbot users: the Notes → Chatbot KB feature (coming soon) will turn these notes into actual chatbot knowledge. Adopt the habit now; the ingest pipeline will harvest your existing tagged notes when it ships.

Document Chat — preview content before adding to the KB

Document Chat lets you upload a document and ask questions of its content — useful for previewing what a chatbot would answer if that document were in its knowledge base.

Practical workflow:

  1. Got a new policy PDF or spec doc from a stakeholder?
  2. Upload it to Document Chat on mobile.
  3. Ask the questions you expect customers to ask (“what’s the refund window?”, “do we ship to Australia?”).
  4. If the answers come out clean, the document is a good KB candidate.
  5. Add it to your bot’s web KB (Hilal Chatbot Knowledge base).

Ask the Database — analytics on your bot’s data

For chatbot operators, Ask the Database is the analytics layer over your conversations, escalations, ratings, and prompts.

Practical queries:

  • “How many escalations to human in the last week, grouped by chatbot?”
  • “Conversations where customer said ‘angry’ or ‘frustrated’ in the last 30 days.”
  • “Top 10 most-clicked prompts last month.”
  • “Bots with worst CSAT this quarter.”

Ask the database

Prompts library — your tuned prompts, on the phone

The prompts you’ve tuned on the web are available on mobile. Run them in any AI surface (Document Chat, Ask the Database, or AI Chat) without retyping.

Practical patterns:

  • “Draft a polite handoff message” — saved prompt; one tap.
  • “Summarize this conversation” — saved prompt; pass the conversation as input.
  • “Suggest a KB entry for this issue” — saved prompt; pass the customer’s question as input. The output is a KB-ready entry you save as a Note.
