Connect your Amazon account
Good news: the mobile app inherits your Amazon connection from the web. If you’ve already connected Amazon to Hilal Software in the browser, you don’t need to do it again on mobile — sign in is enough.
If you haven’t connected Amazon yet, do it on the web first; the mobile app will pick it up automatically next time you open the dashboard.
In this guide:
- Confirm your Amazon connection is active
- Connect on the web if you haven’t yet
- Verify data is flowing on mobile
Step 1: Check the connection status
Open the Settings tab → scroll to Amazon.
You’ll see one of three states:
| Badge | Meaning | What to do |
|---|---|---|
| 🟢 Connected | All set. Mobile is using your web connection. | Continue to the dashboard. |
| 🟡 Connection issue | Token expired or sync errored on the web. | Reconnect on the web; mobile will pick it up. |
| 🔴 Not connected | No Amazon connection on this organization yet. | Connect on the web (see below). |
Step 2: Connect on the web (if needed)
The app guides you with a deep link to the web setup, but you can also do it directly:
- On a computer, open Hilal Software.
- Sign in with the same Hilal account.
- Follow Connect your Amazon Seller account.
Why do the connection on the web? The Amazon SP-API consent flow opens Seller Central’s authorization page, which is awkward to complete on a phone. We do it on the web once and the connection just works on every device after that.
Step 3: Verify data is flowing on mobile
Pull-to-refresh on the Home (dashboard) tab. Within a few seconds you should see:
- Sales / orders / profit numbers in the period tabs.
- A sales-trend chart with real data.
- The Products tab populated with your SKUs.
If the dashboard still shows zeros, the initial data sync hasn’t finished. Large catalogs can take a couple of hours. Check the Settings → Amazon card — it shows the last-sync timestamp.
Multi-marketplace
The mobile app respects whichever marketplaces you’ve ticked under Settings → Marketplaces on the web. The mobile app shows the same scope.
To change it, edit on the web — the change reflects on mobile within a minute.
Troubleshooting
- Settings → Amazon shows “Not connected” but you connected on the web. Sign out and back in on mobile — the auth token may need refreshing. If still missing, check that you’re in the right organization (drawer header).
- Dashboard shows zeros for hours. Initial sync is still running. The Settings → Amazon card shows progress. Wait, or click Retry sync on the web.
- Wrong organization. Tap the drawer header → switch organization.
What’s next
If you also use Hilal Chatbot, set that up next. Otherwise, take the tour.
