Customer profile sidebar

Customer profile sidebar

The Customer Profile sidebar is the “who is this person?” panel. Open it inside any conversation to see context Hilal has on the customer.

In this guide:

  • Open the panel
  • Read the sections
  • Add a note tied to the customer

Step 1: Open

In a Conversation detail, tap the person icon top-right of the composer. The profile panel slides up.

Step 2: Sections

The panel is organized top-down by relevance:

Header

  • Avatar / initials.
  • Name (or anonymized identifier if Amazon doesn’t expose it).
  • Marketplace / origin chip.
  • Tags you’ve added (e.g., vip, flagged-for-review).

Recent activity (sellers)

  • Last 5 orders with date, total, SKU.
  • Lifetime spend (if computable from Amazon settlement data).
  • Return rate.
  • Tap any order to drill into its detail.

Past conversations

  • Last 3 conversations with this customer, with date, outcome, and a snippet.
  • Useful when this isn’t your first interaction.

CSAT / ratings (chatbot)

  • Customer’s CSAT scores from past chatbot interactions.
  • Average rating.
  • Any low-rating thread is highlighted.

Notes

  • AI Notes you’ve created tied to this customer.
    • button to create a new one.

Step 3: Add a note tied to the customer

Tap + Add note → a new note is created pre-tagged with the customer’s identifier. Save as usual; the note appears here next time you open the panel.

This is the workflow for the chatbot operator who’s onboarding a new VIP customer — every interaction adds context that the next operator can read in 5 seconds.

What’s not in the panel today

  • Live cart / browse data for chatbot users — depends on integrations (Shopify, etc.) the chatbot connects to.
  • Customer satisfaction score predictions — on the roadmap; uses past ratings + current sentiment.
