What fires today
This page enumerates what’s actually arriving today, vs the Coming-soon roadmap.
Note reminders
When you set a reminder on a note, the OS schedules a local notification for that time. At the scheduled moment:
- Banner appears with the note’s title and a snippet.
- Tapping the banner opens the note.
- If the device is in Do Not Disturb / Focus mode, the OS may queue the notification and deliver it later.
This is fully working today for everyone with notifications permission.
In-app test notifications
Settings → Notifications → Send test notification triggers a local notification that’s purely for verifying push works. It’s a sanity-check, not a real event.
System notifications
Hilal occasionally pushes system notifications:
- Update available — when a new App Store / Play Store version is out.
- Maintenance window — when an upcoming server-side maintenance might affect you.
- OTA bundle available — when a new EAS Update is staged.
These are infrequent and informational.
Inbox notifications (basic)
When a new buyer message arrives in your inbox, you may receive a basic push. This pipe is partially in place — it works but with a delay (up to a few minutes) and without rich context. The full real-time inbox experience is part of the push roadmap.
What’s NOT firing today
The big-ticket items on the roadmap:
- For Amazon sellers — orders received, listing changes, listing-hijack alerts, low stock. → Amazon-seller pushes (coming soon)
- For Chatbot users — escalations, agent auto-updates, workflow status. → Chatbot pushes (coming soon)
